Sealed quotations (Two Bid System) are invited on behalf of Prasar Bharati, Doordarshan for the supply of equipment detailed below from the reputed firms/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Indian Agents/Representatives authorized by foreign Principals dealing such equipment.

1. Detailed specifications, quantity, scope of work, terms and conditions etc. are given in tender documents obtainable at Facilitation Counter, Doordarshan Directorate, Doordarshan Bhawan, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi-110001 between 11:00 A.M to 3:00 PM IST, on all working days till1:00 PM of one day before the date of opening of Technical Bid as shown against each tender, on submission of written request and a non- refundable tender fee by Demand Draft in favour of “PBBCI, Director General: Doordarshan, New Delhi”. Tenders will be accepted upto 30 minutes before the date & time of opening of Technical bid.
2. Tender documents can also be obtained by post. For this purpose an account payee crossed demand draft for tender fee from Nationalized Bank in favour of “PBBCI, Director General: Doordarshan, New Delhi”, along with request letter mentioning tender number and due date of opening, giving name and address of remitter clearly and legibly should reach this office well before the closing date for sale of the tender. This office shall however, not be responsible for delay, loss or non-receipt of tender documents by post.
3. The participating tenderer will be required to deposit Earnest Money (EMD) as indicated against each tender, payable through Demand Draft or Deposit in the form of Cash Receipt or Fixed Deposit Receipt / Bank Guarantee in favour of “PBBCI, Director General: Doordarshan, New Delhi”. No other form of remittance will be accepted.
4. Two copies of the tender are to be submitted in separate sealed covers. The offer is to be submitted on “Two Bid System” comprising of “Technical Bid” and “Commercial Bid” both of which should be sealed separately and then put together in another sealed cover. The outer cover should bear the Tender No., date of opening, Description of item and prominently display the address of this office. The Technical Bid will be opened as per the time schedule given in the tender document and Commercial Bids of the technically qualified tenderers will be opened on a later date after due intimation.
5. The “Technical Bid” shall contain EMD and all other technical details / documents in support of the offer. There will be no mention of prices anywhere in the Technical Bid. This cover should be clearly super scribed with “Technical Bid” along with tender No., date of opening and description of the item. A copy of the commercial bid without prices is also required to be provided in the technical bid. The Commercial Bid will contain Price Schedule and all the commercial details of the offer. It shall be super scribed with “Commercial Bid” along with tender No. and description of the item.
6. Sealed tender addressed to Assistant Engineer (Purchase Dte.), Room No. 403, Directorate General, Doordarshan, Doordarshan Bhawan, New Delhi-110001 (India), must be put into the tender box or mailed by registered post so as to reach before closing Hrs. on the date of opening as indicated in Tender document. This office shall not be responsible for delay, loss or non-receipt of tender by post. Tenders received late shall be rejected.
7. Small Scale Manufacturers registered with DGS&D/ NSIC under single point registration scheme for the item required in the NIT shall be exempted from payment in respect of cost of tender document /EMD as per the Government instructions subject to submission of documentary evidence of valid registration.
8. Indian agents quoting on behalf of the Foreign Manufacturers / Principals must be registered with DGS&D, New Delhi for the item being offered, prior to the date of opening of Technical Bid.
9. DG: Doordarshan reserves the right to give purchase preference to CPSE’s in terms of the Govt. policy in existence.
10. DG: Doordarshan reserves the right to accept/ reject any tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
