PIYA KA AANGAN

 Doordarshan is going to telecast a new Serial titled “Piya Ka Aangan”
from 16th February, 2009. The Serial will be telecast from Monday to
Friday at 12.00 noon to 12.30 p.m. on the National Channel of Doordarshan
(DD-1).

        The serial has been Produced by Jagmohan Bhanver and Directed by Manoj
Nautiyal. Rajeev Verma, Amita Nangia, Vineeta Mallik , Himangi Kavi,
Raunak Ahuja,  Akshat Gupta, Ankita Srivastava, Tanima Bhattacharya and
Yousuf Hussein are in the main cast.

Piya Ka Aangan is a story about Swati and Shlok, both of whom make the
supreme sacrifice in love for their respective families. Unwittingly, they
come together in the circle of life, how they cope with their challenges
is what forms the crux of the story.

Piya Ka Aangan provides wholesome entertainment; it has a mix of young &
peppy situations and combines these with more profound and serious
situations in the life of the protagonists. The serial moves extremely
fast and the viewers will be left gasping for breath at the end of each
episode, in anticipation of what comes next.
