KAANCH KE RISHTE 

Doordarshan is gong to telecast a New Serial titled “KAANCH KE RISHTE”
from 29th March, 2009. The Serial will be telecast on every Sunday at
09.30 P.M. on National Channel.

The serial has been produced by Tarun Burman & Lalit Arora, directed by
Arshad Khan and cinematography by Deepak Bhosle.

Rajeev Verma, Rupa Devatia, Surinder Pal, Anant Jog, Suhana, Neeraj
Bhardwaj, Arjun (Feroj Khan), Raj Gopal, Digvijay Purohit, Shravani
Goswami and Asha Vyas are in the main cast.

This is based on a story of retired editor of a daily newspaper who stays
in a bungalow along with his wife all alone without his extended family
members. Builder's lobby has an eye on this huge bungalow near the sea.
They give handsome money to the members of his extended family and put
pressure upon them to come and live in this bungalow and then get it
vacated. The retired editor does not bow down under the pressure of the
builder and helping hand comes from his friend who is a police officer.
Three sons along with their families starts living in the bungalow and
make all out effort to drive paying guests out. But slowly the son begins
realizing that by adopting humanitarian outlook only life can be full of
happiness and joy. Today retired editor and his wife are living along with
the members of his extended families in an atmosphere of love, affection
and respect.
